TaKeTiNa
inspired, conscious & healthy through rhythm
What is TaKeTiNa?
TaKeTiNa is a rhythmic method that leads people into deep experience, learning and personal development. The combination of voice and movement creates a trance-like state that is both relaxing and invigorating. An intuitive sense of rhythm develops, while inner balance, presence and a new awareness of body and mind emerge.
For more than 55 years, TaKeTiNa has been used worldwide in education, therapy and personal development – to promote health, stimulate creative processes and accompany people on their journey.

Testimonials
Participants report on their experiences in TaKeTiNa workshops and training courses.
Inner peace, deep relaxation, a new approach to rhythm and music as well as noticeable positive changes in everyday life — these are just some of the aspects mentioned in the personal feedback.
“Reinhard Flatischler is not only a great music teacher. He is also an important musician and a person who tangibly follows a spiritual path. It is an honor for me to be part of his musical work.”

“For me, TaKeTiNa and Reinhard Flatischler's musical genius are liberating! TaKeTiNa opens the participants up to the experience of long-lasting “flow states” and to the state of happiness that arises in an undisguised presence. I experience this as something very special and everyone should experience it once.”

“TaKeTiNa begins with a gentle gong and ends with a drumbeat for the soul. TaKeTiNa is a method through which systemic processes become tangible, through which teams experience themselves as a team and organizational action is given new impetus under the aspect of “experiencing boundaries” and “crossing boundaries”.”

“TaKeTiNa rhythm pedagogy gives musicians and dancers a fearless approach to experiencing and implementing complex rhythms.”

TaKeTiNa is surprisingly simple, which means that anyone can participate in this process, but at the same time it has a very profound effect, allowing participants to get into sophisticated rhythms.
I conduct large choirs and orchestras, but I have never found a better way to communicate the pulse of the music and its rhythm than during the inspiring rehearsals with Reinhard. Whether in Mozart's Requiem or Orff's Carmina Burana, I have never experienced my choir having so much fun singing and being so in rhythm.

If only old Kant had already known about TaKeTiNa...,
then the brave philosopher would have been spared a lot of thinking and the “Critique of Pure Reason” might never have been written. Instead of thinking incessantly about how to solve all the many problems that we humans repeatedly create ourselves with the help of our limited minds, dear Immanuel could have used TaKeTiNa to experience that it can sometimes be more helpful to turn off conscious control instead of intensifying it even further.

TaKeTiNa has been a valuable contribution to our curriculum for over twenty years and is very well received by both students and teachers. Participants benefit from the rhythmic orientation skills that arise from this process as well as the deep nervous relaxation that is essential for teachers and concert musicians.

For me, TaKeTiNa is both fun with rhythm and applied psychotherapy. The only difference is that the participant is the therapist, and instead of labor-intensive therapy sessions, he makes music together with others while gradually becoming aware of the solutions. I experience how TaKeTiNa connects!
On a physical level, I see how TaKeTiNa promotes relaxation, digestion and sleep, thereby promoting healing and resilience. In its gentle, unobtrusive way, TaKeTiNa works and addresses many levels and needs of human existence, the fruits of which you often only really become aware of weeks or months later.

TaKeTiNa is powerful, playful, grounding and yet transcending - in any case very inspiring.

The Taketina process has greatly enriched my life. The joy of playing is combined with a quick sense of achievement. TaKeTiNa is a fascinating method based on enormous life experience.
Reinhard Flatischler has proven his great abilities as a composer, educator, entrepreneur and organizer worldwide through brilliant and elaborate productions.

The TaKeTiNa process creatively helps to understand complex systems and their dynamics in a new way. This enables better management of the burning issues of today and tomorrow.

Healthy Through Rhythm
TaKeTiNa goes far beyond music: Rhythm can be a powerful pathway for reducing stress, regulating the nervous system, and supporting both physical and emotional balance.
Scientific studies and clinical projects have shown that working with TaKeTiNa stimulates the vagus nerve, improves heart rate variability, and sustainably strengthens the connection between body and awareness.

Learning in the rhythm of life
In TaKeTiNa, musical learning takes place in connection with daily learning. It is based on inspiration and enthusiasm.
